First, Kevin Durant won the Wooden Award today, to go along with every other major college player of the year award. How is this even headline news anymore?
Second, A-Rod hit a two-out grand slam to win the Evil Empire's game against the mighty Orioles. I will bet anyone willing he still goes 2-14 with 6 K's in the Divisional playoffs. Any takers?
Third, Michael Beasley is reported to remain committed to Kansas State - and then he later said that report may be false and may ask to be released from his commitment, with Memphis, Florida State and NC State as the front runners for a potential future landing spot. My question is if he is released from his commitment, does he have to give the money back that Huggins gave him up front for committing in the first place? And is the reason that K-State may not let the kids out of the commitments because they are worried that Beasley and co. already spent the moeny? Obviously I'm kidding. Obviously.
Finally, the only people who believed this next statement just finished partying with Larry Eustachy: "with an Augusta course playing extremely difficult this weekend, Justin Rose and Stuart Appleby are the front runners to win the Green Jacket despite Tiger being only one shot behind the leaders."
Happy Drinking everyone. Sanjaya.
