Kevin Grady and Carlos Brown Update

Quick post before I enjoy some afternoon "beves" at the Cubs game.

First, Kevin Grady reportedly tore his ACL in spring practice and will miss the 2007 season. In related news, Coach Carr reported that he thinks the backfield will have 80% fewer fumbles this year, with that number increasing to 100% fewer in red zone situations.

Second, rumors of Carlos Brown transferring are apparently not true....yet. Brown took time off spring practice, but is apparently leaning towards staying. Maybe Grady's injury will give him a chance to switch back to tailback. Although with Morgan Trent as Michigan's #1 corner coming into the 2007 season, every Michigan fan is hoping that Brown stays at corner, and simultaneously ruptures Trent's achilles through some freak (or intentional) accident (or battery).
