Couple of things

First: Reed Baker and Alex Legion are now gone from the UM basketball program. I'm ok with this for a number of reasons:

First, this Legion guy (and I know nothing about him personally) seems like a real attention seeking D-bag. 1) transfered from Country Day after his junior year becuase he wanted to play in an offense where he was the number one option (it should not be overlooked that DCD won the state championship this year without him); 2) pulled a Malik Hairston on UM, committing, de-committing, commiting again; de-committing; Quite simply this guy doesn't sound like the type of player (or person) that UM/Beilein wants in the system. UM was classy in letting him out of his letter of intent too, something my vindicative ass wouldn't have done. In the long run this is probably a good move as it frees up a sochlarship for a player that want to be there and won't be the constant headache/diva that, thus far, Legion has proven himself to be.

All that said, he is apparently a pretty damn good player and would have helped a lot this year.

Baker: Despite his three-point shooting prowess, I'm sure that UM can find someone else who can knock down threes and otherwise be a liability in all facets of the game. Plus, this just means that we get to see more of a white guy named K'len.

What else...its good to see that Pudge is back on the juice (or HGH). I was beginning to think his ego wouldn't get the best of him and he'd quietly hit .289 with 10 HRs and 75 RBIs again this year. I am glad I was wrong about this.

Last, the future of the Pistons is on display this evening as Amir Johnson will go for 14 and 8 against whoever they are playing. Basically, he's the Al Jefferson of small forwards. The best part about Amir is that when he has the cornrows he is a dead ringer for the Predator. In fact, that may have to be his nickname from now on.
